Use the form to get in touch. If you’re booking a mastering session, include the following:

1. Artist name and release title

2. Tracklist in order. Use the exact song titles since file names don’t always match.

3. Release date or estimate of timeline

4. Format you’d like mastered for: Streaming, CD, vinyl, cassette, Atmos, etc.

5. Name of a reference track or album. An artist or release you like the sound of helps me understand the tone and level you’re going for.

6. Download link to your mixes. Wetransfer, Google Drive, and Dropbox all work great.

Optimal Mix Submission Formats:

To ensure the highest possible audio quality for your master, please prepare your files using the guidelines below:

  • Preferred Format: 32-bit Floating-Point WAV
I highly recommend exporting your mixes in 32-bit float at their native sample rate. Traditional fixed formats have strict volume limits. 32-bit floating-point files act like a dynamic safety net; they preserve the absolute shape and detail of your audio waveforms, allowing me to safely adjust volume later without any permanent distortion or loss of quality.
  • Alternative Format: 24-bit WAV
If you must export in standard 24-bit (and that is ok, don’t worry), your mix levels are critical:
    • Do Not Clip: Ensure your master fader never hits or goes over 0 dBFS.
    • Do Not Send Too Quiet: If your mix is too quiet, it permanently discards audio resolution. Avoid sending files that peak below -12 dBFS.
    • The Target Sweet Spot: Aim for your highest musical peaks to hit between -6 dBFS and -3 dBFS. This keeps your audio crystal clear and far above the noise floor while leaving the perfect amount of headroom for mastering.

If you only have 16bit WAV, or MP3, it is not the end of the world. It is not preferred, but I have mastered MP3 and even mastered it for vinyl, and it has come out sounding great. There are no rules, just preferences. But having guidelines and better options can often improve the overall sound. Hit me up and we can talk option no matter what you have.
